You can add assets to the Scan App in two ways:
Upload using a spreadsheet template (.csv)
Add assets manually in the Admin panel
This article applies only to the Scan App.
It does not apply to:
Inspections App
Forms App
Observations App
Incident App
Safety JSA App
Training App
Required Fields
Each asset must include:
Asset Name
Asset Type
Tag ID (must be unique)
Optional fields you can include:
Location
Inspection Frequency
Route
Serial #
Vendor
GPS Coordinates
Adding Assets via Spreadsheet Upload

Scroll to the bottom of this article to download the Scan Asset Import Template (.csv)
Enter your asset details using the format in the template
Save the file as a .csv
In the Admin panel, go to Assets > Import Assets
Click Upload, select your file, and map the fields
Click Import to complete the upload

Manually Adding Assets
In the Admin panel, go to Assets > Create New Asset.
Enter asset details in the provided fields.
Click Add to save.
