Managing Asset Types in Safety Scan for Admins

Each Asset Type is linked to an inspection checklist and an inspection frequency.

Adding or Editing Asset Types

  1. In the Admin panel, go to Asset Type.

  2. Click Add New Asset Type or select Edit for an existing type.

  3. Assign a Checklist and define Inspection Frequency.

  4. Click Update to save changes.

Example: Fire extinguishers may have monthly and annual checklists, each assigned to different frequencies.


⚠️ Important: This guide applies only to the Scan App in Safety Reports. The steps and features described do not apply to other apps, including:

Inspections App, Forms App, Observations App, Incident App, Incidents App, Safety JSA App, Training App.
