This guide is designed to assist Safety Inspection clients who manage projects within Job Bank to utilize the newly added reporting features. The purpose of this feature is to provide job-specific reporting that is easy to manage and will conclude once the project is completed.
Steps to Set Up Job Bank Performance Reports
Follow these steps to create and schedule performance reports for your Job Bank projects:
1. Log on to the Admin Site
Begin by logging into your Admin Site for the Safety Reports system.
Once logged in, navigate to the ‘Inspections’ tab located among the products listed at the top of the page.
2. Access Job Bank Maintenance
On the far-left menu, select ‘Job Bank Maint’ (Job Bank Maintenance). This will take you to the section where you can manage and configure Job Bank reports.
3. Select the Job Bank Job for Reporting
In the Job Bank Maintenance section, choose the Job Bank Job for which you want to set up performance reports.
Once you locate the correct job, click the ‘Edit’ icon on that row to open the editing page.
4. Enable Scheduled Reports
Scroll to the bottom of the page that follows.
Check the ‘Scheduled Reports’ box to enable the scheduled reporting feature for this specific job.
5. Configure Report Settings
Once the scheduled report option is enabled, you will see similar settings to the Report Scheduler function found elsewhere in the Admin site.
Select the Report Type you wish to use for this job’s reports.
Update the Report Title to ensure it is properly labeled for the job.
Set report frequency (weekly or monthly), range, and audience for the report. These settings define when and to whom the reports will be sent.
6. Save Your Changes
After configuring the report settings, click ‘Update Job’ at the bottom of the page to save your changes.
Important Notes
This function applies the selected report settings (type, frequency, etc.) to all report types marked as ‘checked’. All reports will be delivered to the selected audience across the project in the same manner.
These reports are tied to the specific Job Bank job, and will continue to generate until the project is marked as complete.
Conclusion
Setting up Job Bank performance reports streamlines the process of tracking and reporting on project progress. By following these steps, you can easily configure job-specific reports that will be automatically delivered at the desired frequency, ensuring all stakeholders are informed about the project’s safety status.
