The CAT Summary by Inspection Report provides a concise snapshot of each inspection's statistics related to corrective action tracking. While similar to the Corrective Action Tracking Report, this report presents data in a structured format with a focus on inspection-level statistics rather than individual corrective actions.

Report Structure

The report is organized into columns, categorizing data as follows:

  • Left Columns: Company and inspection details

  • Center Columns: Count of open, pending, and closed action items, along with percentages

  • Right Columns: Closure-related statistics

  • Red Flagging: Inspections with remaining open items are highlighted in red text

  • Aggregate Totals: Summary statistics appear at the bottom of the spreadsheet

Available Filters

Users can refine the report using the following filters:

  • Date Range

  • User (Inspector)

  • Checklist

  • Company

  • Group

  • Inspection Name

  • Contact Name

  • General Contractor

  • Division

  • Location

  • Custom Filters (if applicable)

Common Applications

As part of the suite of reports related to Responsible Parties and Corrective Actions, this report is frequently used by:

  • Account administrators and safety leadership to monitor outstanding corrective actions

  • Clients and project managers to assess inspection-level performance

  • Safety teams to track open issues and ensure compliance

  • Organizations that need an overview of inspection statistics displayed on their account dashboard

By highlighting inspections with unresolved items and summarizing closure trends, the CAT Summary by Inspection Report is an essential tool for proactive safety management and compliance tracking.
