In Safety Reports, you can assign Responsible Parties to safety observations to ensure that issues are addressed by the appropriate individuals. This feature allows for better tracking and accountability. Follow the steps below to add responsible parties to your system.
Step 1: Log In to Your Safety Reports Admin Page
Start by logging in to your Safety Reports Admin page using the username (email) and password provided by your organization.
Step 2: Access Observations Settings
Once logged in, select Observations from the grey bar at the top of the screen to access the settings for managing observations.
Step 3: Choose Responsible Party Maintenance
On the far-left side of the screen, choose Responsible Party Maintenance. This option allows you to manage the individuals or teams that are responsible for handling observations and actions.
Step 4: Add a New Responsible Party
To add a new responsible party, click on the Add New Responsible Party button.
Step 5: Enter Responsible Party Details
In the fields provided, enter the name and email address of the responsible party. This is the person or team that will be assigned to take action based on the observation. Once you've entered the information, click the Update button to save the new responsible party.
Note:
If you are using 'locations' as your setting in Observations, after you add the RP(s), then you'll need to go to 'location maintenance’ and move the RP(s) to the appropriate location(s) by clicking the Edit icon of the location.
If you are using ‘Job Bank’ as your settings in Observations then the steps above do not apply. You will need to add the RP(s) on the Inspection Admin Module, then add the RP to the appropriate Job Bank Jobs in 'Job Bank Maint'
