Updated over 2 months ago

Why We Added OSHA 301 CSV Export

Compiling OSHA 301 reports has traditionally been a tedious and time-consuming task. Safety managers and office administrators often spend hours manually gathering incident details, formatting spreadsheets, and copy-pasting data. This process takes away valuable time that should be spent on actual workplace safety rather than paperwork. To eliminate these inefficiencies, SafetyReports now offers the OSHA 301 CSV Export feature.

What Is SafetyReports’ OSHA 301 CSV Export?

The OSHA 301 CSV Export is a powerful new feature that simplifies compliance reporting. Instead of manually pulling and formatting incident data, users can now generate a compiled OSHA 301 report in just a few clicks. The export produces a pre-formatted CSV file that is ready for direct submission to OSHA’s ITA system—eliminating errors, reducing administrative work, and ensuring compliance with OSHA requirements.

How OSHA 301 CSV Export Works

  1. Set the Year Filter – Select the OSHA 301 section in SafetyReports and apply the "Or By Year" filter to specify the reporting period.

  2. Generate the Report – Click "Generate OSHA 301 Data CSV" to compile all incidents into a single file.

  3. Download the File – The system generates a pre-formatted CSV report, ready for submission to OSHA.

Key Benefits of OSHA 301 CSV Export

  • Saves Time – Eliminates the need for manual data entry and spreadsheet formatting.

  • Reduces Errors – The system ensures accurate, standardized reporting.

  • Ensures Compliance – Easily meets OSHA’s ITA reporting requirements.

With this new feature, safety teams can spend less time on administrative tasks and more time focusing on workplace safety. No spreadsheets, no copy-pasting—just fast, efficient compliance reporting.
