Electronic tracking is the most common method in the Safety Reports system. Each negative observation generates a unique ID, allowing the system to track and manage follow-ups with statuses like “Open/Pending” or “Closed.”
Managing Electronic Corrective Actions
Follow the steps in the Corrective Action Tracking Method- Set Up section.
After a negative observation is submitted via the mobile app, go to the ‘Corrective Action Tracking’ function on the admin screen.
The system assigns each item a unique ID and tracks it.
Responsible parties receive email notifications to update their assigned action items.
Note: Ensure only involved personnel are listed as responsible parties to prevent spam filters from blocking legitimate Safety Reports emails.
Use drop-down menus to filter by user or company.
Select a Corrective Action Status using radio buttons.
Inspections with follow-up items appear in rows with their respective statuses:
Closed: All items are resolved.
In Progress: Some items remain open.
Open: All items remain open.
Click ‘View’ to manage a specific item.
Click the ‘Delete’ icon to remove a follow-up from tracking.
Note: Deleting an item stops email notifications but does not remove it from the original inspection.
