Routes & Tasks in Safety Scans for Admins

Tasks are automatically created based on inspection frequency but cannot be individually assigned.

Routes, on the other hand, allow administrators to assign inspections to specific users.

Creating an Equipment Route

  1. Go to Routes > Add New Equipment Route.

  2. Name the route and assign a User Group, Shift, and Start Date.

  3. Select Daily or another frequency.

  4. Click View Item List to add or reorder assets.

Note: Routes override default checklists, so ensure that each asset type is linked to the correct checklist.


⚠️ Important: This guide applies only to the Scan App in Safety Reports. The steps and features described do not apply to other apps, including:

Inspections App, Forms App, Observations App, Incident App, Incidents App, Safety JSA App, Training App.
