How to Set Up a Free Account in the Safety Reports Inspection App

Step-by-step guide to set up a free Safety Reports Inspection App account and start using two checklists with two inspections per month.

Before You Begin

Make sure you have:

  • Access to an iOS or Android mobile device

  • Internet connection

  • A valid work email address

Important: You must complete all steps in this guide to activate your Free account. Incomplete setups will not result in a usable account.


Set Up a Free Account

1. Download the Safety Reports Inspection App

2. Launch the App

  • Tap the green Get Started button

3. Select Account Type

  • Tap Create a New Account for my Company

4. Fill in Account Details

On the Create Account screen:

  • Enter your Company Name

  • Enter your work email address

  • Create and enter a Password

    • Password must include:

      • At least 8 characters

      • One uppercase letter

      • One lowercase letter

      • One number

  • Tap Create Account

5. Complete Your Profile

  • Tap the green Complete Profile button

6. Enter Contact Information

  • Fill in your First Name, Last Name, and Phone

  • Do not use dashes or special characters in the phone field

  • Tap Continue

7. Select Your Safety Checklists

  • Choose up to two checklists

  • Selected checklists will be marked and the rest will be greyed out

  • Tap Finish

Example: OSHA Construction 1926 and General Industry 1910

8. Choose Your Next Step

  • We recommend tapping Continue to App

  • You may also choose Schedule Walkthrough to meet with a Safety Reports representative


What’s Next?

9. View Your Dashboard

  • You will be logged in automatically

  • If not, enter your email and password on the Login screen

Once logged in:

  • You’ll see the Start New screen

  • Two demo inspections will appear—one for each selected checklist

  • Tap one to open and begin an inspection

Free accounts are limited to two inspections per month

You’ll see this status at the top of the screen:

Inspections: 0 of 2 used

10. Start Using the Checklist

  • You’ll see a list of inspection categories (e.g., Fall Protection, Fire Safety)

  • Tap category items to record observations

Free accounts are limited to 50 checklist items per inspection

You’ll see this displayed as: Observations: 0 of 50 used
