Mark an Asset as 'Out of Service' in Safety Scan

Managing your assets efficiently is crucial for maintaining an accurate and up-to-date system. If an asset is no longer in use, you can update its status to "Out of Service" in Safety Reports. Follow the steps below to mark an asset as inactive.

Steps to Mark an Asset as Out of Service

  1. Log in to Safety Reports

    • Navigate to the Admin page and enter your credentials to access the system.

  2. Access the Scan Feature

    • Locate the Scan option in the grey navigation bar at the top of the screen and click on it.

  3. Select the Asset Section

    • On the far left of the page, choose Asset from the available options.

  4. Edit the Asset

    • Find the asset you want to update and click Edit to modify its details.

  5. Change the Asset Status

    • Locate the Asset Status field and select Out of Service from the dropdown menu.

  6. Save the Update

    • Scroll to the bottom of the page and click Update to save the changes.
