QA/QC

Please be patient and take time to ensure spelling, grammar, phrasing, and syntax are correct. What is typed will appear in inspection reports and may go to management or clients, depending on the situation.

  • The ‘spell check’ feature will not catch some errors that can cause responses or questions to be incorrectly typed or phrased.

    • Example: Words like ‘for’ and ‘fro’ are both correct in English but may be misused in context.

  • Using proper case is important:

    • Uppercase can be used for emphasis, but overuse may not look professional in reports viewed by executives.

    • Random uppercase letters in the middle of a sentence can be distracting.

    • Lowercase proper terms (e.g., manufacturer names or locations) may cause confusion.

Taking extra time to review checklist content is worth it—mistakes are easier to correct in drafts than in final reports.
